World leader in gases, technologies and services for Industry and Health, Air Liquide is present in 80 countries with approximately 65,000 employees and serves more than 3 million customers and patients. Air Liquide is a committed stakeholder to new energies. It has developed technologies and expertise that span the entire biomethane value chain. The Group has designed its own membranes’ technology for upgrading biogas and enhances the value created by Anaerobic Digestion plants. These solutions enable the upgrading of all biogases for subsequent injection into the natural gas grid, the production of vehicle fuel (compressed or liquefied natural gas or biogas) and the production of renewable hydrogen from liquid biomethane. Not only a technology provider, Air Liquide makes partnerships with biogas producers and shares its experience. The Group already has two biomethane plants in operation in the United Kingdom and has a further four in construction. It operates nearly fifty biogas sites worldwide. The biomethane that is upgraded by Air Liquide can be notably used as fuel. Air Liquide operates nearly 60 bio-NGV (Natural Gas for Vehicle) fueling stations in Europe, including three in the United Kingdom. They can refuel vehicles with compressed natural gas (CNG) or/and liquefied natural gas (LNG) on the same site, produced in part from biomethane. Some can also provide liquid nitrogen for cryogenic refrigerated transport.

Vogelsang offers rotary lobe and progressive cavity pumps, inline RotaCut macerators and XRipper shredders. In addition Vogelsang offers multiple digester feed system solutions – CC Mix, EnergyJet and Premix – to efficiently mix, homogenise and macerate agricultural, food waste or sewage sludge feedstocks with an appropriate liquid feedstock. These are tailored on a case-by-case basis to suit the specific application. Vogelsang also offer systems for applying digestate back to the land as a biofertiliser. These include dribble bars and the XTill strip tillage system with integral digestate injection. Vogelsang also offer the ExaCut and Dosimat distributors, which are a feature of their own application systems, for fitting to other manufacturers’ digestate or slurry application systems. The dribble bars can be direct mounted to the tractor or fitted to a tanker. Vogelsang operates out of a facility in Crewe that has a comprehensive spares parts store and a repair workshop.
