Plant Optimisation Training, 26th March online, via Zoom

26 March, 2020 9:30AM - 4:30PM

Venue: Online
Address:

using ZOOM

Get the best from your AD plant, improve process performance and minimise problems.

This training feeds into sections 3 & 4 of the ADCS criteria and develops staff competency in these areas.

It is aimed at anyone interested in improving their knowledge and understanding of the AD process, in order to increase output and process stability.

Book a place now.

Delivered by Angela Cronje, a Chemical Engineer with over 15 years experience in the organic waste management and AD sector, this training will help you optimise the output of your AD plant. It addresses the biological processes at the heart of AD: how to monitor activity, recognise trends, understand the operations; how to influence the biology to resolve issues and optimise output.

The day starts with an overview of optimisation, and a comparison with maximisation. It goes on to consider a range of factors affecting the biology of AD and how to ensure a healthy plant, with appropriate real-life examples from plants across the UK.

It consists of:

Introduction to AD and the biology basics
Monitoring biological health and efficiency
AD Process metrics and performance indicators
Troubleshooting instability
AD Plant design for process stability – an overview

The training will conclude with a visit to the nearby Singleton Birch AD plant  (TBC)
