EnviTec Biogas UK Reports Positive Performance At UK AD & Biogas 2014

EXHIBITOR NEWS

EnviTec Biogas UK will be showcasing the technology and expertise at UK AD & Biogas 2014 that has led the company to secure a range of multi-million pound projects nationwide this year.

Headquartered in Rugeley, Staffordshire, EnviTec Biogas UK has recently signed five new contracts, at sites located across the country.

Four of the projects involve the construction of 499 kW biogas units, while one further scheme features gas upgrading technology.

The new facilities are located at farms and food production sites. The clients were attracted by the balance sheet strength of EnviTec Biogas UK, as well as its technical competence and time-proven track record.

Mike McLaughlin, a director of EnviTec Biogas UK, said:

The market is recognising that AD really adds up. There are significant benefits in being able to use the plant to help manage waste, produce energy and give security against volatile utility prices.

EnviTec Biogas UK is a market leader in the design, manufacture, supply and servicing of integrated biogas plant and gas upgrading technology.

As well as providing highly-engineered units, the company also offers a complete service and support package, to ensure clients get the maximum output from their investment – for the long term.

This includes biological sampling and testing, as well as a dedicated team of service professionals who schedule works to ensure maximum productivity with minimal impact on the plant’s operations. Mike added:

As well as high-performance plant, key to a successful installation is the presence of an established service and support network, which can be relied upon now and in the future.

We are strengthening our service team to ensure high levels of service delivery are maintained, and this is absolutely vital to ensure a future-proof approach.

Landowners, farmers and food sector companies introducing biogas units and associated gas upgrading technology plant to their premises are making a large investment. As a result, they are seeking reassurance that the long-term maintenance and servicing of the plant can be met.

They want to know that the process is in safe hands – and that their investment in the future of renewable energy will continue to perform efficiently – the same as any other equipment they specify.

As a result, purchasers should scrutinise the ability of their supplier to support their purchase over the long-term. Our approach is that if we have to service it for the lifetime of the tariff then we will make sure it is well built in the first instance using quality components – that way our job will be simpler and cheaper in the long run.

“It is the lifetime cost that is important and our experience gained from the 55MW of plants that we own and operate gives us a unique insight into what is really important in plant design.

This is an important consideration in the decision-making process, to ensure the smooth-running of the plant now, and in the future.

UK AD and Biogas 2014 takes place at Birmingham’s NEC on 2-3 July. EnviTec Biogas UK can be found at stand number F043.
