LATEST ADBA Map Published - September 2017

Today we have published the latest map showing details of all the AD plants in the UK inside and outside of the water sector.

To access the map, please click here or on the image below:

(If you are an ADBA member, please remember to login for full access)

This map - compiled using planning, BDS, BEIS and general information - gives details of all the AD plants in the UK inside and outside of the water sector.

For non-members, it shows those currently in operation, and provides basic details of:

  • Plant type
  • Plant capacity
  • Feedstock sector (type)

ADBA members have access to the above, plus exclusive full access to information on:

  • Plants in construction and with planning permission submitted
  • Feedstock capacity (tonnes per annum/tpa)
  • Feedstock description
  • Companies involved in building and operating the plants (suppliers)
  • Year commissioned
  • Interactive search functions to help you navigate the map --> search by name & postcode, and filter by 'status' and 'tpa'.

For ADBA members, this edition of the map includes new data on biomethane upgrade technologies and suppliers for many of the UK biomethane plants. You can read my blog on this here.

If you have any feedback about the map, functionality or data please send an email to ADBA Enquiries. To enquire about full access or membership please contact Alex Monks.

If you are interested in hearing about how biomethane can help decarbonise transport, why not attend the ADBA Biomethane & Gas Vehicle Conference next Thursday 28th September in Leeds? Topics, from leading speakers in the industry, will include:

  • How to get the RTFO working for you
  • The future of biomethane
  • The role of biofuels in the UK Government’s Clean Air Strategy
  • Stimulating the biomethane-powered HGV market

Or if your focus is on AD in Northern Ireland, the inaugural ADBA Northern Ireland National Conference on 5th October in Belfast will bring the entire Northern Irish AD industry together to hear about the latest technical and policy developments and to share experiences on how to maximise revenues through operational performance and best practice.
