MEDIA PARTNER PRESS RELEASE: Energy Now Expo 2018

The agricultural sector is used to a change, however, understanding what impact the recent policy changes in the agri-renewables sector will have, and whether investment in renewable energy is still a practical, viable option for farmers, often isn’t clear.

The Energy Now Expo 2018 will not only look to clarify this question of viability, but also showcase the current and future opportunities for forward-thinking farmers.

Taking place on 7th & 8th February 2018, once again at the Telford International Centre, Shropshire, the ninth annual Energy Now Expo will be held in association with the NFU and CLA and supported by organisations including ADBA, NNFCC, Fram Farmers and Woldmarsh Producers. In addition to the exhibition and renewables advice clinic, the 2018 event boasts a multi-streamed conference, featuring key speakers:

  • Ray Noble, REA Solar & Storage Advisor
  • Dr Jonathan Scurlock, Chief Renewables and Climate Change Advisor, NFU

  • Nicholas Brooks, Head of Energy, Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV)
  • Geraint Evans, Programme Manager – Bioenergy, ETI
  • John Findlay, Chairman, GSHPA
  • Jessica Allan, Environment and Regulation Manager, ADBA
