National Grid publishes its CfD’s 3rd allocation round detailed guidance

The second version of Contracts for Difference's allocation round 3 guidance has been published. You can consult the document here. This version includes detailed guidance on the Application Form, with screenshots and assistance for the online process.

The first version developed by BEIS was published earlier this month together with the statutory notice required for the opening of the allocation round on the 29th of May.

This auction is open to capacities above 5 MW of the ‘less established’ (Pot 2) technologies only. The following technologies are eligible to compete:

• Advanced Conversion Technologies​
• Anaerobic Digestion​
• Dedicated Biomass with CHP
• Geothermal​
• Offshore Wind​
• Remote Island Wind​
• Tidal Stream​
• Wave​

We encourage our member to apply and we would be happy to accompany them through the process if they require technical help. Additionally, ADBA has been representing the sector at the technical meetings where BEIS collect opinions from different stakeholders.
