BEIS have released their figures for 2017 renewable electricity capacity and generation across different renewable technologies, including how each is doing on load factors. Renewable electricity generation in 2017 increased 18.8% compared to 2016, from 83.2 TWh to a record 98.9 TWh, largely due to increased capacity, and higher wind speeds compared to a year earlier. …

AD Load Factors at an all-time high

Annual load factors for the anaerobic digestion (AD) industry in the UK continued to improve, rising to 73% last year, up by 4% compared to 2015.
