Urgent – join coalition to call for separate food waste collections

ADBA has joined a coalition of partners calling on the government to include a commitment to universal food waste collections in England in its forthcoming Resources & Waste Strategy, and is encouraging its members to also join the coalition.

The coalition will lobby the Defra Secretary of State Michael Gove later this week ahead of the expected publication of the Resources & Waste Strategy this month. The coalition is being coordinated by the Bio-Based & Biodegradable Industries Association, who have put a series of slides setting out the argument for universal collections.

If you would like to join the coalition and add your/your company's name to the call for universal food waste collections, please contact ADBA's PR & Parliamentary Affairs Executive Chris Noyce on 020 3176 5441 or at chris.noyce@adbioresources.org ideally by close of play on Wednesday 14th November.
