Topic: Separate food waste collections: How are they working in Northern Ireland?

Bio: Owen is currently the acting Head of Waste Policy in the Environmental Policy Division (EPD) of DAERA. Since joining EPD in 2010 his responsibilities have covered waste prevention and recycling policies and delivering programmes and projects to support the Northern Ireland Waste Management Strategy. He has been involved in environmental management since joining the Northern Ireland Civil Service in 1991. He initially worked in Water Service as a wastewater process scientist and analytical manager. In 2004 he moved to the Northern Ireland Environment Agency with responsibilities for waste management licensing, regulation and enforcement.
