Call for abstracts – ADBA R&D Forum

This is an excellent opportunity to raise awareness of your expertise and achievements to a high profile audience in the anaerobic digestion (AD) industry.

You are invited to submit an abstract for a paper to be presented to the upcoming Forum about your latest activities in areas relating to anaerobic digestion R&D.

ADBA’s R&D Forum (12-13 Nov) will feature two sessions where academics are invited to present details of their latest research and developments in all aspects relating to anaerobic digestion. Topics may relate to activities underway either in the UK or internationally that address the challenges facing the industry, or future needs to be explored. This important forum brings together a wide audience from academia and business, and will be of interest to those involved in all aspects of innovation in the industry and the design and operation of anaerobic digestion plants.

This two day event is organised by ADBA in partnership with WRAP, FERA and the Environmental Sustainability, Transport and Biosciences Knowledge Transfer Networks. The two days will provide the ideal platform to learn, share and debate the latest developments in AD R&D. It will include presentations about the current picture of AD research in Europe, as well as panel debates to identify how new technologies may best benefit from university innovations. There will also be a showcase of results from WRAP’s Driving Innovation in AD programme, plus a presentation of the R&D strategy and development plan for the AD industry being prepared by ADBA.

A highlight on day two will be a guided tour of the open-access AD facilities at the Centre for Process Innovation nearby at the Wilton Centre R&D complex.

Abstract papers should be no more than 150 words.

Those selected to present will be offered a free place at the Forum.
