DMT Environmental Technology from The Netherlands, a global player in the field of biogas upgrading with membrane technology and desulfurization plants, is a member of ADBA again. With the new RHI tariffs, a lot of opportunities have arisen in the UK biogas market.

DMT-ET is currently building biogas upgrading plants in Denmark, United Kingdom, the Netherlands, USA, and the first biomethane production plant in Estonia. In the UK alone DMT-ET has delivered 11 biogas upgrading plants and in 2012 even built the first commercial plant with high selective membranes in Europe. In 2012, not using chemicals or water was quite new. The first plant turned out to be easy to operate with a small footprint – unlike other systems, it has no high columns and runs very smoothly. Worldwide, DMT-ET has built over 24 biogas upgrading plants with extra technology for the production of Bio-LNG and Bio-CNG combined with fueling stations.
