AD Plant Optimisation
Whether you’re a novice or experienced, come for an in-depth understanding of mechanical and biological processes so you can improve your plant’s performance. The course covers a range of topics, such as plant operation, options for monitoring activity and the interpretation of resulting data. Improve how you analyse data, from there you can use data to modify inputs, improve efficiency, stabilise the digester and enhance output quality and quantity. 91% of participants of ADBA’s last AD Plant Optimisation course reported they would recommend the course.
Feedstock
You’ll learn about feedstock preparation and characterisation, interpreting lab test results, impact on the AD process design and performance, and impact on the digestate characteristics. The 1-hour seminars on feedstock are always immensely popular at our World Biogas Expo, but now you can book a 4.5 hour training course on Feedstock with ADBA. Biomethane Grid Injection
The course will provide an understanding of opportunities and the means by which biogas manufactured from waste can be upgraded to make biomethane and to meet the various standards for entry into the existing gas supply network – this is to displace the equivalent quantity of fossil gas and hence support Net Zero initiatives. The course will also explain how the value of biomethane sold into the market (and support from the Green Gas Support Scheme) generates an income stream. The trainer is Iain Ward, a chartered engineer who project managed on the UK’s first biomethane-to-grid project and has been closely involved with about 40 BtG projects ever since.
