Products & Services

Clinty Bio is a biological engineering company dedicated to unlocking the full energy potential of anaerobic digestion (AD). We provide operators with deep, data-driven insight into what is happening inside their tanks—turning complex microbiology into clear, actionable intelligence.

Through detailed feedstock characterisation and routine digestate analysis, we identify signs of inhibition, nutritional imbalance, or process instability before they escalate. Our work empowers AD operators to optimise their biology, stabilise their process, and reliably extract more energy from every tonne of material.

When further optimisation is needed, Clinty Bio runs controlled trials in our 60-litre pilot lanes, allowing a control plus multiple variables to be tested in parallel. Whether evaluating pretreatment technologies such as cavitation or hydrolysis, or refining feedstock recipes, we provide the evidence and engineering insight needed to guide confident operational decisions.

Our expertise has enabled clients to successfully integrate advanced process steps—such as dedicated hydrolysis tanks—resulting in significant increases in gas yield and overall plant performance.

Clinty Bio turns biological complexity into operational advantage, helping AD facilities run cleaner, smarter, and more efficiently.

Overview

The strength of Clinty Bio lies in our multidisciplinary team of agronomists, microbiologists, and engineers—each bringing deep expertise and practical, hands-on experience to support AD operators.

Our agronomists understand the full journey of organic materials, from field to feedstock, and back to field. Their knowledge of crop quality, nutrient composition, and variability helps us diagnose feedstock-related challenges and optimise recipes for stable, efficient digestion.

Our microbiologists specialise in the complex microbial ecosystems within anaerobic digesters. They translate biological signals into clear operational guidance, detecting early signs of inhibition, imbalances, or stress so operators can act before performance drops.

Our engineers bridge the gap between science and on-site operation. From process optimisation and plant troubleshooting to piloting innovative pretreatment technologies in our 60-litre lanes, they ensure that every recommendation is practical, measurable, and scalable.

Together, our team combines scientific insight with real-world engineering to help AD facilities run at their full potential—safe, stable, and consistently producing more energy.
