ADBA has been referenced in an article by a World Bank economist on anaerobic digestion as a potential solution for sustainable wastewater re-use and renewable energy in Mexico.

The article references AD's ability to power over a million homes in the UK and an ADBA report showing that the total energy generation from UK AD plants in 2017 reached 10.7 TWh/year.
