Contract success at UK AD & Biogas 2013 for Edina

Expecting a terrific turnout at ADBA’s annual exhibition and conference, UK AD & Biogas 2013, Edina Group’s joint managing director, Tony Fenton had arranged to meet several clients attracted to the venue to finalise business arrangements.

Robert Kennedy, director of Strathendrick Biogas signed the contract to confirm the order of an MWMTCG2016CV12 (500kW) for delivery in the Autumn. Working with MT Energie, Strathendrick Biogas is developing an anaerobic digestion plant in Stirling. Edina won the contract to supply the gen-set based on cost, efficiency, after sales support and their proven track record.

From 2006, Edina has held the exclusive distribution rights for MWM engines in the UK and Ireland. Edina is unique as the complete, packaged container is then manufactured in house, in the UK, unlike any of the alternative gen-set suppliers. This allows for the provision of a bespoke, fully compliant product, ensuring best possible set up for the engine and generator followed by rapid income generation for the client.
