RHI sustainability criteria: further details from Ofgem, workshop dates
Following the publication of their guidance last week, Ofgem have asked us to pass on the following message, which is relevant to anyone who claims the RHI and uses crop feedstocks. In particular, please note the urgent need to submit your FMS questionnaire, and the workshops whcih will be taking place in August.
New sustainability requirements come into force on 5 October 2015. You will need to comply with these in order to continue receiving RHI payments.
If you will be self-reporting (the draft sustainability guidance and factsheet explains what this means) then you will need to complete the Fuel Measurement and Sampling Questionnaire as soon as possible, and email it to us at RHI.biomass-sustainability@ofgem.gov.uk.
We need to agree this in advance of 5 October to ensure your RHI payments are not delayed.
We are holding workshops to help you with this process – please contact us [via the email above] if you would like to attend:
- Ofgem Glasgow office in the morning of Wednesday 5th August 2015
- Ofgem London office in the morning of Thursday 20th August
