Larrington Shredding Tube

The Larrington Shredding Tube is a new unique game changing patented technology that is very well suited to the shredding of many biomass products and is a new small footprint, lower energy, high volume technology that will enhance your production and increase the quality and profitability of your Anaerobic Digestion System.

Requiring only 45Kw of power this very small footprint shredding technology is an exceptional new way to break down a multitude of Cereal Crops, straws, grasses, fruits, and vegetables, animal waste and combined animal waste and bedding products.

Each individual Larrington Shredding Tube can shred e.g 12 to 15 tons per hour of Sugar Beet and Maize and 3 tons or more of Straw and Miscanthus ( straw & Miscanthus could be more dependent on the in-feed volume) and we are testing on multiple food waste products.

Multiple Larrington Shredding Tubes can be used to increase throughput and we have the ability to add additional features i.e. stone trap, washer and we can build-in a full bale in-feed for larger volume feeds.

For Anaerobic Digestion the unique shredding action results in a product with a larger surface area giving anaerobic enzymes the ability to more easily work in making more gas, more quickly than other shredding systems.

Additionally, most products exit at a temperature of around 35 degrees centigrade- which is perfect for the Anaerobic Digestion process and could save you energy.

Anaerobic Digester Feeder

The design of the Ejector trailer is ideal to be used as a loading hopper. The body can be built in any length required to suit the capacity that needs to be held prior to supplying an Anaerobic Digester. We manufacture the body similar to the trailer but internally we cover the inside with a 10mm PVC sheet, this reduces the risk of acid digestate from corroding the inside. The headboard can push the waste mixture at a given rate towards a shredding unit at the rear of the body that breaks up the contents and feeds it into the AD unit. The Ejector/Shredder can be fitted with an electronic hydraulic system which the AD unit can call upon to respond to its requirements, so automatic filling can take place. The shredder unit can be tailored to your specific requirement.
