Atlantic Biogas provide full operating services, including:

• management of the supply feedstock liaison and the agreement of commercial terms with the suppliers
• deciding upon the daily feed ratios to maximise gas production with plant capabilities
• employment of, and day-to-day management of, the plant’s operators
• setting daily plant operating parameters and instructions to operators
• management and tasking of planned and reactive maintenance and life cycle activities

Atlantic biogas also manage and deliver further services to the portfolio including:

• identifying, developing and delivering a programme of plant upgrades to maximise overall portfolio performance
• developing systems for the management of planned maintenance activities
• liaison with regulatory and other statutory bodies in relation to the ongoing operation of plants
• developing budgets for income and costs, and reporting against the same
• providing a suite of operational and strategic reports to the owners

Overview

The Atlantic Biogas team operate and manage a portfolio of three anaerobic digestion plants (ADPs), each with a net export capacity of 4,000,000m3 of upgraded gas to grid per annum. The plants are located on the east coast of Scotland.  The team also oversee and manage a further 10 farm based AD plants.  Atlantic Biogas consists over twenty FTE specialist staff and managers.
