Nick leads on energy, decarbonisation and transport. He actively engages with the government departments and policy advisors BEIS, DfT, CCC, Ofgem and others to lobby for effective policy to support industry growth. An author of ADBA’s key report ‘Biomethane: pathway to 2030’, he has also led on the data modelling used to explore the full potential of the UK’s AD industry.
Nick and Leanne co-manage the ADBA’s extensive data resources, including the AD map and database of operational plants.

Josh Henthorne
Technical Support Manager
Josh leads on providing support for AD plant operators. He helps operators with regulation, policy, technical support and ADBA’s training program. Josh also works to improve the performance of the industry by promoting best practice and the AD Certification Scheme.

Leanne Williams
Policy Analyst
Leanne leads on waste feedstocks, sustainable bioenergy crops, agriculture, soil health, digestate innovation and regulation. Her role requires engagement with bodies such as Defra, the EA, Ofwat as well as organisations such as the NFU, CLA, LARAC and LGA.

Giulia Ceccarelli
External Affairs Adviser
Giulia leads on the association’s public affairs and stakeholders engagement. Her role requires engagement with Ministers, MPs, Peers and government departments to advocate for the right level of support that will enable the UK AD sector to reach its full potential. She also works closely with third-party organisations to raise awareness of AD and grow the industry.
