Thöni Industriebetriebe GmbH, a family-run Austrian provider of aerobic and anaerobic digestion systems, has been at the forefront of anaerobic digestion (AD) technology since 1991. Specialising in the design and construction of turnkey biogas plants, Thöni offers the TTV* Thöni Continuous High Solids Anaerobic Digestion system for organic waste and the TNV** Thöni Wet Digestion Semi-Dry system for food waste and biogenic residues.
Project Overview:
Commissioned in 2016, the Rufford Studfarm AD plant in the UK, operated by Future Biogas, highlights the efficiency and versatility of Thöni’s TNV Wet Digestion Semi-Dry process. Designed to process a variety of agricultural feedstocks, this facility demonstrates how advanced biogas systems can drive sustainable energy generation.
