Overview

Malaby Biogas is part of the BioticNRG platform owned by Palisade Real Assets, an infrastructure investor focussing on building AD capacity in the UK and Europe.

Malaby Biogas owns the Bore Hill Farm Biodigester in Wiltshire. Integration of AD and development of supply chain verticals  and innovation and knowledge adjacencies allows wider site uses, essential to maximising returns on investment capital. The on‑site visitors’ centre demonstrates an exemplar model of AD operation and provides a venue for events, industry outreach and training. With first‑hand experience in quality development and professional operation, we are pronud to be the first English AD facility to qualify for the prestigious AD Certification Scheme. Other on‑/near‑site integration includes off grid gas upgrading for transport, other renewable energy technologies, novel feedstocks, quality digestate, commercial integration and operational and climate research and innovation. Malaby is able to demonstrate significantly negative carbon credentials and is leading research into developing an industry wide live reporting mechanism for GHG emissions savings validation.
