Carbogenics, a pioneering Scottish startup specialising in sustainable biogas solutions and biochar, has been supported by Scottish Development International (SDI), Scotland’s international trade and investment agency to participate in a global event in New York City to coincide with the prestigious Climate Week event. This year’s Climate Week will be held from 17-24 September, 2023, propelling Carbogenics to an international stage.

Carbogenics’ strides in carbon reduction have attracted notice from industry leaders and is emerging as a leading contender in the environmental sector, showcasing noteworthy contributions and considerable potential in this swiftly evolving area.

Climate Week NYC will bring together leading innovators, investors, and policymakers from around the world to explore and promote sustainable initiatives. This event aims to facilitate collaboration and showcase groundbreaking solutions addressing critical climate challenges.

Ed Craig, CEO of Carbogenics has been supported by Scottish Development International to participate in an event where some of Scotland’s most innovative climate-tech companies will pitch to leading North American capital investors. As a thought leader with 25 years+ global experience regarding sustainability innovation and eco-system development, Ed will share insights on biochar technology, and its role in enhancing value to the global biogas industry while displacing fossil fuel usage and sequestering carbon.
