MEMBER PRESS RELEASE – Gen-C welcomes PowerHeat to new CHP partnership, the Energy+ Alliance

Gas engine upgrade specialist Gen-C will welcome PowerHeat as the latest member of a brand-new CHP partnership, the Energy+ Alliance, on stand B503 at the World Biogas Expo. Joining the likes of Gen-C, LouwSon Energy and Motortech, engine pre-heating specialist PowerHeat will become the eighth member of the Alliance, which has been formed to provide whole-of-market CHP support, servicing and supply to the AD and biogas sector.

Boosting engine performance and lifespan

As a founder member of the Energy+ Alliance, Gen-C has also been announced as the new UK distributor for PowerHeat. Based in the Netherlands, PowerHeat is a provider of engine pre-heating solutions that protect CHPs from wear and tear, helping to prolong their lifespan, reduce maintenance, lower fuel consumption, mitigate against harmful emissions, and reduce warm-up times. As well as CHPs on biogas plants, the company also provides pre-heating systems for engines across a range of sectors, including marine, gen-power, industrial, railways, and on- and off-shore.
