MEMBER PRESS RELEASE – Realistic Agri strengthens biogas team with appointment of Ross Henderson 

Realistic Agri has strengthened its biogas team with the appointment of Ross Henderson as Head of Biogas, Performance and Process Consultant.

Ross brings a strong technical background in chemistry and anaerobic digestion, together with practical experience supporting AD plants and troubleshooting process performance.

At Realistic Agri, he will work directly with agricultural and commercial AD operators to identify the causes of instability or underperformance and develop practical solutions to improve efficiency, stability and gas yield.

His expertise includes feedstock optimisation, volatile fatty acid and trace mineral analysis, digester stability, ammonia management and process equipment, including dewatering technologies. He has also worked on challenges including floating layers, biochemical imbalances, reduced volatile solids destruction and difficult feedstock conditions.

Ross’s interest in anaerobic digestion began during his studies at Murdoch University, where his research included the use of green waste as a feedstock for biogas production.
