MEMBER’S PRESS RELEASE: CooperOstlund recognised for AD innovation

CooperOstlund, the UK’s leading provider of gas engine specification and maintenance services, was highly commended in the Best AD Support (Technical) category at this year’s AD & Biogas Awards. The ceremony, which recognises excellence across the anaerobic digestion (AD) industry, took place earlier this week (11 July) at the Vox Conference Centre in Birmingham.

The judges were impressed with CooperOstlund’s high level of expertise, collaborative approach and ambition to deliver best-in-class service to its customer base. Its recent work with Ixora Energy Ltd was also commended, a project which saw nine gas engines installed and commissioned at AD sites nationwide in less than three months.

Duncan McPherson, CEO at CooperOstlund, commented:

We have always seen the quality of service and technical expertise we offer our customers as central to our long-term success. We take technical support very seriously. It can be business critical for our clients and they need to know we are a business they can rely on. Taking home such a prestigious accolade is testament to the whole team’s hard work and commitment.

Steve Thomas, maintenance manager at Ixora Energy, added:

When speed, accuracy, technical know-how and attention to detail was critical, CooperOstlund’s expertise ensured that each site was fitted with the right engine solution for its exact needs.

CooperÖstlund boasts an industry-leading call-out response time, alongside 24-hour cover, dedicated staff based on-site and a comprehensive remote maintenance solution that enables engineers to monitor engine performance, gas quality, temperature and power output – providing the opportunity to recalibrate equipment, fine-tune carburation and even send out engineers to replace faulty parts, if necessary.

The company’s Northamptonshire headquarters is home to state-of-the-art engineering facilities that enable engines to be taken off-site and worked on in a safe and secure environment to minimise unnecessary site disruption. For more information, visit
