Environment Policy Adviser at NFU (National Farmers’ Union)
I work within the Environment team in Policy Services at the NFU covering waste policy. This includes compost, digestate, sewage sludge, food waste, fly-tipping, land spreading of waste and plastic.
I also cover permitting for the pig and poultry sector (IPPC).
In addition to this I am the project officer for Tried & Tested; an industry led initiative which offers farmers a toolkit of resources and advice on nutrient management planning.
