AD operators – take part in WRAP's survey of the organics recycling industry

This February and March, WRAP will again be undertaking their annual survey to generate estimates of the size and nature of the AD sector in the UK. The survey is being carried out so that WRAP and its funders (Defra, and the Scottish and Welsh governments) can target their activities in ways that support the AD industry. The information collected in the survey will build on data collected in previous years and contribute to the evidence-base for decisions on developing the industry.

WRAP is funding the survey and will be working with industry groups including ADBA, ESA and REA/ORG. The contractor conducting the survey interviews is the company which maintains the data for the Official Biogas Plant Map, BDS Marketing Research.

The survey relates to the most recent year of operation, 2013 which should make it easier for operators to participate fully in the survey.

We would like to encourage all operators of AD sites to take the time to participate in this survey. Without accurate and complete site information, the results would not be as useful.
