EA Draft Quality Protocols for Compost and Digestate joint meeting opportunity

The Environment Agency has updated its Resource Frameworks guidance, which will affect digestate management from anaerobic digestion plants. The new draft framework is now available for review.

These new frameworks aim to clarify when waste management controls are no longer required and ensure the quality of compost and digestate from source-segregated biodegradable waste.
