Green Gas Manifesto: Powering Prosperity: Scotland’s Biogas Opportunity | March 2026

At the ADBA Scottish Conference, ADBA officially launched its new Green Gas Manifesto, setting out the key actions required from the Scottish Government to ensure the sector not only survives, but thrives on Scotland’s journey to net zero.

Titled Powering Prosperity: Scotland’s Biogas Opportunity, the manifesto is aimed at all political parties ahead of the Scottish parliamentary elections on Thursday 7 May. It outlines the policies ADBA is urging the next Scottish Government to adopt in order to unlock the full potential of green gas, support rural economies, and strengthen Scotland’s renewable energy leadership.
