Green Gas Task Force Publishes Feedstock for Biomethane Availability Study

The Green Gas Task Force (GGTF) of which ADBA is a member has just published a report outlining the feedstock potential for biomethane generation.

Entitled “A Green Gas Future“, the report compiled by bioeconomy consultants Alder BioInsights (formerly NNFCC) on behalf of GGTF assesses the availability of sustainable feedstocks in the UK and determines that there is sufficient resource to generate 50TWh of biomethane per annum by 2030, rising to 120TWh by 2050.

This analysis demonstrates that feedstock availability is not the limiting factor for sector growth.
