Under the banner of safety and efficiency, Schmack Biogas presents a range of innovative solutions and concepts at Agritechnica in Hannover that will enable biogas plant operators to comply with future statutory regulations, in particular with regard to water conservation and operational safety.
Flex-Silo protects groundwater against silage effluent
To ensure compliance with groundwater and environmental protection requirements (Regulations on Facilities Handling Substances Dangerous to Water – AwSV), Schmack Biogas presents its innovative mobile silo concept consisting of system modules, the Flex-Silo. Introduced as a prototype at Eurotier 2014, it has since proven its worth in practice. The system modules made from recycled PE offer protection against silage effluent and are characterised by their simple and inexpensive construction.
Dosage sluice – emission-free transfer of admixtures into fermenters
The 'Technical Regulations for Hazardous Substances for Activities Relating to the Manufacture of Biogas' (in acc. with the Technical Regulations for Hazardous Substances, TRGS 529) require that open handling should be avoided when using admixtures and additives such as concentrated salts or trace elements. This type of admixture should only be fed into the fermenter through a closed system.
With its dosage sluice, Schmack offers an affordable and reliable solution for the emission-free and dust-free transfer of additives and admixtures in acc. with TRGS 529. It can be very easily integrated into existing plant structures and is easy to use.
10% discount on membrane roofs at the trade show
Gas-proof coverings and membrane roofs are subject to an ageing process. Over time, this may result in leaks. They should therefore be replaced when necessary. As a response to the planned biogas plant ordinance (double-shell cover), Schmack Biogas is offering a ten percent discount on all double membrane roofs from Agrotel during the trade show.
The new products can be seen on the Schmack Biogas stand. You will find us at Agritechnica Hannover in Hall 18, Stand C08.
