The main focus of Celignis is on the analysis of lignocellulosic biomass. Such feedstocks are mostly composed of cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin. Lignocellulosic biomass, depending on its composition, can be used for the production of second generation biofuels and platform chemicals (in biorefineries) and for the production of heat and power.

We also offer a unique rapid analysis method for the determination of lignocellulosic properties of biomass samples. This enables you to obtain analytical data typically within one day of us receiving your sample
