— The Role of Green Gas in Net Zero —
On 9 December, ADBA unveiled a game-changing analysis of how greater use of green gas in the energy mix could cut down the cost of implementing Net Zero measures by more than £400/year of every British household.
Conducted in partnership with BMA (Business Modelling Applications) using its AI-assisted DecisioTM whole energy planning system, and drawing on the computer model used by Whitehall, the analysis revealed that the cost of meeting Britain’s net zero targets in 2050 could be nearly £300 billion less than official projections – this represents a saving of £415/household per year.
