This webinar will help participants gain a better understanding of the Nitrate Vulnerable Zones (NVZ) closed period, its dates, and penalties for spreading during the closed period. Topics will include Farming Rules for Water (FRfW) regulations for England and the rules in Wales for digestate as organic fertiliser and digestate which remains waste. The course also includes managing digestate storage over winter, lagoon covers and blackgrass seeds. You will find this course useful if you are an AD plant operator, farmer, spreading contractor or haulage company.
