Come to the next ADBA Members Meeting, taking place free-of-charge on Thursday, 20th April in Southampton. The event features a guest talk from a representative of Government’s newly formed Department for Energy Security and Net Zero – Richard Caldecourt will share insight on the UK Emissions Trading Scheme, highlighting how it could soon have a significant impact on the biomethane sector. ADBA’s analysts will unveil the latest edition of the “ADBA Policy Report” – members, get your free hard-copy and hear about the data and intel on legislation, regulation, feedstock, outputs, technical developments and market trends. You’ll also watch a presentation on ADBA’s lobbying campaigns, meetings with ministers and HM Treasury, the government reshuffle and the upcoming Labour Party Conference. At the meeting, join an interactive session to influence the mid-scheme review of the Green Gas Support Scheme – GGSS has the potential to expand to CHP conversions, but we need your input for our unified voice as an industry! Additionally, we’ll explain how you can get involved in ADBA’s Working Groups. The meeting agenda also features talks from the Environment Agency, Department for Business and Trade, Health & Safety Executive (to be confirmed) and a food waste AD plant operator. You don’t want to miss this!
Attendees will have time to network face-to-face with each other. The meeting includes free lunch, snacks and drinks. The spring 2023 is kindly hosted by the Environmental Biotechnology Network, a BBSRC/EPSRC NIBB, at the University of Southampton. EBNet is a community of academics and industry dedicated to engineering microbial systems for environmental protection, bioremediation and resource recovery. Feel free to ask EBNet questions during the presentations and networking breaks.
If you’re not yet an ADBA member, but are interested in what membership has to offer, then we encourage you to express your interest by also filling-in the registration form below.
