Overview

Reaseheath College operates a small scaled, 50Kw on-farm demonstration anaerobic digestion plant, which received funding through RDPE and the NWDA. The remit of the project is to support the development of on-farm AD in the UK by providing data and practical knowledge to industry as well as hosting plant tours, skills workshops and bespoke corporate training. Further research is being conducted into the on-farm utilization of AD outputs (electricity, heat and digestate).
