Mark Richmond, Technical Director, WRM
Mark is a Chartered Waste Manager with twenty years’ experience of wastes management. He is a specialist in developing waste and recycling strategy, assessing the feasibility of organic waste treatment facilities, managing waste and recycling service procurements, and undertaking investment due diligence. He has provided technical advice on several food waste strategy and procurement projects for local authorities including Surrey County Council and Warrington Borough Council. Mark also worked on secondment to Greater Manchester Combined Authority to manage the procurement of the largest organic waste contract in the UK. In the private sector, Mark has a reputation for strong due diligence and market insight with leading commercial banks and institutional investment fund managers.
