ADBA Responds to Landmark Biomass Strategy Consultation

This week ADBA responded to the Biomass Strategy consultation. After weeks of outreach, two strategy workshops, and lots of membership engagement, we wish to thank everyone who took the time to feed into our response.

Throughout the consultation we highlight the key organic feedstocks that should be prioritised for anaerobic digestion, and their potential to decarbonise sectors such as heat, transport, electricity, agriculture, and industry. Furthermore, sustainability criteria, carbon accounting and innovation requirements were also examined.
