MEMBER’S PRESS RELEASE: Puregas Solutions
Purac Puregas: Today marked a significant milestone for Purac Puregas on their journey to become a total solutions provider in the field of Biogas Upgrading.
The first membrane upgrading plant left their Kalmar based manufacturing facility this morning, bound for Rybjerg in northern Denmark.
The plant which will upgrade up to 900m3/h of raw biogas from the Anaerobic Digestion of pig manure and is the first of its kind in Denmark.
Rolf Hakkason, Business Development Manager, Purac Puregas AB commented:
Due to the nature of the site it wasn’t possible to install one of our CApure biogas upgrading plants, so instead we took the opportunity to supply our customer with one of our new line of Membrane Upgrading Plants. The high efficiency polymer membranes used are amongst the most efficient in the industry, and combined with our superior build quality and process know how provide the perfect solution.
The raw biogas from the AD plant will be upgraded and injected into the Danish gas network, providing renewable, green energy in the form of biomethane.
The BGS biogas upgrading plants are based on a modular design. This allows manufacturing of standardised, pre-fabricated units that are pre-tested, process optimised and quality controlled in production prior to delivery, reducing site time and cost for both installation and commissioning. Modules are built to our exacting standards to ensure total quality control and operational reliability. All modules are also fully tested and approved by a certified third party inspector, to ensure that the biogas upgrading plants meet stringent international quality, safety and performance requirements.
