We Are Orchard is a management agency for associations that actively contributes to the development of an environmentally friendly circular economy. We are a small business with a big impact, working effectively to build key stakeholder relations and leverage the membership of the associations we manage, namely the Anaerobic Digestion and Bioresources Association (ADBA) and the World Biogas Association (WBA).
What you will be doing (Job Purpose)
In line with our vision and mission, the Marketing Executive will execute targeted B2B marketing strategies and campaigns. The role aims to amplify brand awareness, drive lead generation, and contribute to the overall growth and success of ADBA and WBA. Additionally, the position will focus on enhancing overall brand equity and awareness while playing a pivotal role in educating the general public about the benefits of AD (Anaerobic Digestion).
The ideal candidate brings a demonstrated proficiency in marketing (ideally B2B), excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally for impactful results, with a strategic focus on elevating brand perception and increasing membership engagement.

The role of Marketing Executive involves a diverse set of responsibilities:
- Implement Marketing Strategies:
Execute comprehensive B2B marketing strategies aligned with organisational goals
- Member Engagement and Retention:
Alongside the Membership Management team, implement initiatives to enhance member engagement, fostering loyalty and satisfaction.
Execute campaigns to retain existing members and attract new ones.
- Content Creation and Communication:
Generate compelling content, including social media updates, to effectively communicate the benefits of AD and promote the association’s initiatives.
- Digital Marketing Execution:
Leverage digital marketing tools and platforms for effective email campaigns, social media marketing, and online advertising tailored to the B2B audience.
- Brand Positioning and Equity Enhancement:
Work towards enhancing the overall brand positioning in the sector.
- Public Education Initiatives:
Implement strategies to educate the general public about the advantages and positive impact of Anaerobic Digestion through various channels, such as online content, events, and partnerships.
- Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, communications, membership and events, to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts.
- Market Research and Analysis:
Stay abreast of industry trends, conduct market research, and analyse competitor activities to inform marketing strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Performance Metrics Tracking:
Regularly track, analyse, and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
- Event Promotion:
Support the promotion of association events, conferences, and webinars to maximise participation and engagement.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 2 years of relevant marketing experience.
- Digital Marketing Proficiency: Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms, including email marketing software, social media management tools, and analytics platforms.
- Content Creation and Copywriting: Strong writing skills with the ability to create engaging and persuasive content for various channels, including websites, social media, and email campaigns.
- Graphic Design Skills: Basic graphic design skills to create visually appealing and effective marketing materials using tools like Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva.
- Social Media Management: Hands-on experience managing social media accounts for professional or organisational purposes, enhancing online presence and engagement.
- Data Analysis: Competency in data analysis to interpret marketing metrics, track campaign performance, and make data-driven decisions for optimisation.
- Event Marketing: Experience in promoting and marketing events, conferences, and webinars to maximise attendance and engagement.
- CRM Software Proficiency: Practical experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software for marketing and engagement strategies.
- Market Research: Ability to conduct market research, analyses industry trends, and understand competitor activities to inform marketing strategies.
- An excellent team player, able to build relationships with colleagues at all levels and work collaboratively with hybrid teams.
- Communication skills: Strong communication and presenting skills.
- Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to identify challenges related to membership and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Fluency in English – any other additional language is a plus.
- Passion for and experience in working with biogas, anaerobic digestion, climate change, climate finance and net zero.
- Video Editing Skills: Proficiency in video editing software (ideally Adobe Premiere) to create compelling and professional video content for marketing campaigns, presentations, and online platforms.
What we offer: Package Details
- £32K – £36K pa DOE (Depending on Experience)
- 25 days’ holiday + 1 additional day’s holiday near your birthday (This will increase by 1 day on every 2nd anniversary of your joining the Company up to a maximum of 27 days)
